Pulaski County Deed Book 93, p.44: This deed of conveyance made & entered into this 10 day of Jany 1917 between Hattie Fox and her husband Harvey Fox, parties of first part and J. F. Roper and Mariah E. Roper parties of second part witnesseth that said parties of the first part for and in Consideration of the sum of fifty &00/100 dollars in hand paid the Receipt of which is here by Acknowledged do hereby sell and convey to the parties of the second part their heirs and assigns the following described property to wit, "a certain tract of land lying and being in Pulaski Co. Ky and bounded and described as follows: Beginning on a poplar east side of Cumberland River thence N55E24 poles to a spanish oak thence N26W48 poles to a black oak, thence N35W15 poles to a walnut, thence N86W15 poles to a stake on the river, and thence binding on the river to the beginning Being the same conveyed to ancestor Morther of grantor Mollie L. Dobles on 24 of Jan 1908 & recorded in deed book 63 page 103 Pulaski Co. Clerks office Ky. and the grantors herein are heirs at law of Mollie Dobles Stringer and are conveying title derived through her. Henry Fox Hattie Fox
