Water is the major constituent of living organisms; it must be constantly provided to keep organisms alive

In Blacksburg, Virginia the charge to residents is about $0.004/gallon. It comes from the New River about 10 miles away.

IBM Saves Water and, thereby, Energy

IBM reduced water usage by 20-million gallons per year and saved $3-million dollars; thus, the cost is $0.15/gallon.
