This is web page http://www.roperld.com/Hoxne.htm.

The writing of this web page was motivated by the fact that my Roper family lived in Hoxne (pronounced Hoxen) in Suffolk for at least ten generations from about 1500 to about 1750. There are seven barely readable Roper grave stones in the grave yard of the Hoxne St. Peter and St. Paul church and a Samuel Roper is buried under the floor of the church.
